I bought this book to use as a guest book for my son's 1st birthday. Daddy is in aviation, and my son loves planes so we did a "How Time Flies" theme, and I wanted him to have a keepsake from it. Everyone loved the idea, and the book is adorable.
I bought this to bring on on a trip I was taking with my 2yr old granddaughter & thought it would be fun to read while we were on the airplane. I love Margaret Wise Brown's books & this one is cute though the the prose is very simple & very repetitive. I did find it was too short a story to keep my grand-daughter busy for very long on the plane, but now, after the trip, she asks to have it read to her a lot when she's visiting me & it does keep her attention.The illustrations give you that very "warm & fuzzy" feeling!
Purchased the book for airplane themed baby shower and it was the perfect gift. Great for everyone to sign at the shower and use as a keepsake. The illustrations are adorable, however the book was shipped in a plastic envelope with no bubble wrap or cardboard and Arrived DAMAGED. I had to glue the spine because it was torn like it was dropped. A padded envelope would have prevented this. The book is five stars but the shipment packaging disappointing.
Such a sweet book! My grandson wore out his first copy! He's got the book memorized and now needs both books side by side to "read" them both at the same time.
Great illustrations and cute story. I bought this for my 2 year old son's airplane themed birthday party. He loves this book.
Cute book, however, review the size. IT is quite large and won't fit in my child'sl bookcase.
Love this book. The pages are big and colorful and my daughter and son both love it. Wish there was a board book.
