Hasn’t changed much in a decade other than an increasing number of mistakes. Still an invaluable resource. Will continue to buy, just only every other year or three.
I recently downsized my collection of firearms (age, arthritis). When a buyer complained about the price I'd set, I'd open up the book to the appropriate bookmark and show him. That pretty much reduced the dickering to just the accessories I had to accompany the firearm. I believe this book paid for itself many times over during that sale.
I use this book to check values of Browning Auto-5s that I already own and that are available in local gun auctions. The last issue I had was the 35th edition (2014)..and the gun values have not changed..so from my viewpoint it's a 4star and not a 5star in terms of value specific to my needs. The discussions on Browning firearms seem little changed.
My husband is a gun enthusiast, he doesn't shoot much anymore, but he likes to be able to find out what guns in his collection are selling for now. He has been reading this book ever since it arrived on Tuesday. He hasn't told anything to me about what he has or has not found, but he must find it interesting since I find the book laying open around the house.

This book is a great guide to establishing a baseline price for a gun based on condition, desirability and rarity. Some of the guns sold for much more than I thought they would and I'm sure that I would have undervalued them without the information I got from the Blue Book.
